Family

Larry's wife, Linda, is a graduate of both Western Carolina and the University of Tennessee with a B. S. and an M. S. in education having taught schools in North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. They have three children – Mark, Travis and Alan, all three were educated in the Dorchester County District 2 school system and are graduates of Western Carolina University, The Citadel and Clemson University. They have eight beautiful grandchildren. Larry and Linda are active members of Summerville Baptist Church where Larry has served as Deacon for over 27 years and served as Deacon Chairman in 2005 and 2009. Larry has taught a Sunday School Class at the Lieber Correctional Institution near Summerville for 23 years. Both Larry and Linda have been active members in the Kings Grant Homeowners Association for 28 years and a supporter of Charleston Southern University for several years.
