Chris Murphy's Campaign Stoops to New Low in Negativity and Trash Release
Chris Murphy has mailed two recent mail pieces that continue to bring voters to the Hargett Campaign. Several voters, previously unassociated with the Hargett Campaign, are calling and stating - 'whenever I see this type of negative and low-road campaigning, I immediately make my decision to vote for the other Candidate who is the recipient of the negative campaigning'.
Chris Murphy is, unfortunately, probably not driving his own campaign while taking directions from 'others' desperately trying to 'dispatch' the Hargett Campaign without success. Current polling shows the Hargett for State House District 98 ahead and gaining in numbers each day due to the negativism prevalent in the Chris Murphy Campaign.
Several voters have called to express their dismay over Chris Murphy's May 17, 2010 vote against the Dorchester County Council decision to approve a no tax increase in the 2010-2011 budget that includes helping fund the Trident Technical College's requested Nursing, Science and Math building project. The vote was six Councilman in favor of this important project with one lone vote against by Chris Murphy even though the Trident Technical College project will bring more jobs to Dorcheser County. Simply unbelievable. Larry Hargett voted FOR the no tax increase 2010-2011 budget that includes helping fund the Trident Technical College's Nursing, Science and Math building project.
Chris Murphy also voted against a proposed County Ordinance, at the same meeting on May 17, 2010, approving a Citizen Referendum question to be placed on the General Election Ballot in November, 2010 asking voters to determine if Dorchester County Council should be authorized to issue general obligation bonds to fund Dorchester County Parks and Wildlife Habitat Projects. He basically voted against giving the citizens of Dorchester County the right to decide whether or not they want County Parks on the November, 2010 general election which is tantamount to saying to voters,- we/County Council know better than you what is best for you. Larry Hargett voted FOR placing this Referendum before the voters in November, 2010 and to let them make this decision.
