The Election is Official

Posted on Jun 12, 2010

My thanks to all 2,256 citizens who voted for my candidacy in the 2010 Republican House District 98 Primary election. I urge all voters to begin a planned process of communicating your thoughts and concerns to Mr. Murphy as he goes to the General Assembly next January with the following mandates he promised to deliver during the Primary election:

- Reform our antiquated State government
- Reform our public education funding formulae
- Bring new jobs to Dorchester County
- No new taxes
- A promise to be the voice for the people and
not special interest groups
- Bring State highway funding for improvements to
State roads and streets in Dorchester County and
its Towns

During his Freshman year in the House, Mr. Murphy will be assessed/graded on each of his six Primary promises, either delivered or undelivered, with grades of A,B,C,D or F. It is my sincere hope and prayer that he will make a positive, decisive difference in the General Assembly and that he will 'Restore Representation' to our State House District 98.

Thanks, to all.

Larry Hargett
